2015 Strawberry Festival was held on June 11th from 4-6PM
2015 Strawberry CropThe first strawberry crop of the season was picked on June 3rd, 2015. We harvested over 200 pounds of berries this season. With only a few berries left here and there, we have hit the end of our strawberry season as of June 26th. We will have more sweet berries to come next year!
Strawberry ScienceLearn why the strawberry is really not a berry and why it has seeds on the outside with Wonderopolis.

Festival InformationWe had 75 people attend our first Strawberry Harvest Festival on June 11th. They braved temperatures over 90 degrees to enjoy time with the GSB Community to enjoy strawberry picking and tastings. Families helped to pick over 25 pounds of strawberries! Most families adopted a baby strawberry plant to bring home. It was a great afternoon to enjoy the garden and enjoy the company of other GSB families.
